Substructure

What is Substructure?

The substructure of your house is the portion that is below ground. It is mostly made up of the walls below ground level, columns, and the foundation for your house. These days, basement parking is a feature of multi-story buildings, and the substructure also includes these basements.

Importance

When building a house, the substructure is essential since it serves as the building’s base. It protects against settling or moving over time, maintains stability, and bears the weight of the structure. For the house’s lifespan and safety, a well-built substructure is necessary.
